Oh hey, I remember seeing a boat like that at a boats for sales event near the local car dealership. It sure impressed me to know just how big they were and the one in the picture was quite smaller from what I saw at the event. At those event, do they let customers lease the boats or even rent them out for a while?
You can lease one of those mega yachts any time you want. No fool in their right mind (OK, a few may), would let their yacht sit in port, while they only use is a month or two out of the year. Just docking fees alone will cost you about $3,000.00 a month, plus a ship’s crew, that is on call, 24/7. There is a new reality TV show just out called “Below Deck Mediterranean “, that is about the lives of the crew, on some massive sized yacht, that charters out for however long a person can afford it. Looks like they get paid pretty well. This yacht has a crew of fourteen. If you can afford it, you can have it. Need help? Send me an email (lol), or just look on the back of one of those Mega Yacht magazines, they have hundreds to choose from, yet a lot of then won’t charter to Americans, I have no idea why? Good luck!
Cost is more like 10% of expense, this yacht would cost $8-10m a year to run after being purchased. I have a megayacht myself (M/Y Hatt Mill) and a crew is not on call, the crew lives on the yacht. This boat would require 8-10 full time crew members 24/7/365 with additional stewards brought on while guests are present.
3k a day is standard for a 50m Pending what marina and time a 70m plus will set you back a min of 30 to 50k per month. Purchase a Berth for this size where possible will be at least 10million for a 30 year or less lease
Por qué la mayoría de super yates de lujo en el Mediterráneo no se renta a ciudadanos americanos alguien sabe el motivo ?
