Zaha Hadid worked together with design office Kollision, studio CAVI and motion designers Wahlberg, to create the interactive installation ‘Parametric Space‘ for the exhibition ‘Zaha Hadid – World Architecture’ at the Danish Architecture Centre, from 29 June – 29 September 2013.

At first glance the Parametric Space by Zaha Hadid installation, is a dark rectangular space with four walls, floor and ceiling.
But it is a parametric space that reacts to the movements by changing shape and expression, when visitors enter.
The normal flat ceiling reveals itself as a flexible membrane that starts to glow. Stepping closer, it moves further down, stepping back the membrane draws itself back, too.
