Paramount Pictures switched to digital format

The famous Hollywood studio, Paramount Pictures switched from 35mm film to digital format for the United States theater releases.

The all-Digital age in U.S., according to The Los Angeles Times, started with the movie The Wolf of Wall Street. The digital format allows high-tech 3D effects plus and the digital copies are much cheaper, at under $100 a piece, compared to as much as $2,000 per film print. Besides, 92% of U.S. theaters have already installed digital projection equipment.
