For a housing competition in Lima, Peru, Tammo Prinz architects from Germany, proposed a unique pentagonal housing tower to be placed over a public plaza.

The extraordinary housing tower has a geometric concrete structure with perfectly tessellated pentagonal polygons that make up the individual units. It is based on two platonic shapes, the cube and the dodecahedron. Even though it has a rigid exterior frame, the interior is left free to be arranged in a variety of ways, including outdoor terraces.
