Gary Connery has become the first skydiver to safely skydive without using a parachute. He took a 2,400-foot jump from a helicopter and landed on a soft runway of 18,000 cardboard boxes.
42-year-old stuntman Gary Connery (real life Batman) accomplished this world record thanks to his specially designed “wing suit”.
He made his first parachute jump as an Army recruit at 23 and went on to become a professional stuntman, completing 880 skydives and 450 BASE jumps.
