Fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger has teamed up with solar panel company called Pvilion, to design a limited-edition solar-power jacket, with versions for men and women, that can power up your electronic devices.

The jackets are made in a tartan design, the solar panels on the back are flexible and removable.

Energy collected by the solar panels is directed, via a cable with USB ports, in the pockets.

At Camp Tommy, 120 under-privileged young boys (12-15) from New York City engage in a wide range of educational programs such as computer training, literacy and visual arts. Camp Tommy was founded by a $2.5 million grant from The Tommy Hilfiger Group. Please visit www.freshair.org for more about Camp Tommy.
