The Superbus, developed by former Dutch astronaut Wubbo Ockels, is a 15-meter long vehicle-bus that provides seating for 23 passengers and has 16 doors. The electric bus is said to reach a speed of up to 250 kilometres per hour.
It runs on four E2M electric motors powered by rechargeable batteries.
With its lightweight construction, made of carbon fiber-epoxy composite, and the highly streamlined shape is designed to keep energy consumption down.
