The Float, a solar powered catamaran designed by Jeffrey Greger and Timo Bücke, is composed of many individual parts like solar panels, seating mesh, etc.
Most of them are removable, can be fitted inside a container.
The solar cells are imbued into the acrylic panels.
All loose components fit neatly inside a container formed by both pontoons zipped together. The entire boat can then be transported atop a car.
Coming onto the controls, this boat includes an advanced yet convenient system of control panel. The panel can indicate the battery status, and also features speed and steering controls, music player and even touch screen e-ink display. Adding to that, the steering is also made user friendly.
