They have some exciting new results from one of Curiosity’s miniature chemistry lab called SAM. They’re cautious to make a big announcement concerning the “really interesting” data, until they verify their results.
John Grotzinger, the principal investigator for the rover mission, said:
“This data is gonna be one for the history books,” he said. “It’s looking really good.”
