Tokujin Yoshioka’s Crystalize exhibit, a 40 feet tall installation and containing 500 crystal prisms. including the crystal Rainbow Church at the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo.
Reflected light through the prisms, creates stunning rainbows on the walls.
The artist explains:
“I had a mysterious experience of being filled with overwhelming light and vibrant colors. A dream to build architecture like this chapel came up to me strongly.”
The exhibit is on display at the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo through January 19, 2014.
