Tomb of Alexander the Great

At this time, Olympia, Alexander the Great’s mother, is considered the person likely buried in the magnificent tomb because of the many similarities to the tomb of Phillip II, Alexander’s father. The Cultural Ministry of Greece has already declared the find to be “an outstanding monument of particular importance.”
