TRON designs Corian

DuPont and Disney will showcase at “Padiglione Visconti”, “TRON designs CORIAN®”, a design exhibition inspired by the film “TRON: Legacy” from Walt Disney Studios.

The overall effect and expression of “TRON: Legacy” has inspired many artists and designers across fashion, music, design and technology. From the original Daft Punk soundtrack, to exclusive apparel and designer jewellery, to the brand-new videogame “TRON: Evolution”, the world of “TRON” has become a lifestyle phenomenon.

With “TRON designs CORIAN®” exhibition, “TRON: Legacy” offers a new, world-class demonstration of its potential, providing to the world of furnishing and design an exceptional inspiration base, a different starting point for creativity.

With “TRON designs CORIAN®”, the creative evolution of DuPont™ Corian® makes a big step ahead, combining its expressive and technical capabilities to the unique, world-class creativity and imagination coming from “TRON: Legacy” movie and from the world of Disney as well as to the talent of designers and companies which play a leading role in design, style and technology.

The “TRON designs CORIAN®” exhibition is an original design project which will be art directed by DuPont and Disney and created using DuPont™ Corian® high-tech surface for a surprising scenography.

Under the guidance of Disney and DuPont, leading-edge companies (including Altha®, Capo d’Opera®, Cappellini, Ernestomeda™, Jacuzzi®, Lago®, Tao® Esterno), architects and designers (including Shai Akram, AquiliAlberg, Dror Benshetrit, Jordi Canudas, Giulio Cappellini, Andrew Haythornthwaite, Gwenael Nicolas, Setsu Ito and Shinobu Ito, Lagostudio, Ilaria Marelli, Marco Piva) will create for “TRON designs CORIAN®” fascinating interior design solutions and architectural forms, taking inspiration from “TRON: Legacy” and exploiting the versatility of DuPont™ Corian® techno-surface.
