The limited edition ‘tempo théorie’ (‘tempo theory’) is the first watch created by french designer Vangarde for his eponymous luxury timepiece company.
In ‘tempo théorie’, Vangarde’s 29-jewel custom ‘Calibre V1’ movement is set within a black galvanized steel case.
Decorated with hand-wrought Côtes de Genève (Damaskeening) patterning, the movement is topped with a layer of gears before the final piece with its exposed aluminum alloy hands and time dial.
Made in Switzerland, the watch features a power reserve of 48 hours.
VANGARD is a registered independent artisanal French designer, who clearly intended for fans of contemporary watchmaking looking for exclusive pieces and original.
Production is carried out under the direct control of the mark by a dozen workshops Switzerland, high-end specialists in small series.
Of these ongoing exchanges between the creation and fabrication shops are born VANGARD watches. From a stylistic point of view VANGARD closely associates classicism, art, modernity and craftsmanship, the personal world of a freelance designer.
The watches are only available to order with a delivery by carrier (money back). Sell directly without going through a distribution network can display attractive rates despite the high costs associated with a homemade low volume.
