Wind Cubes concept

A concept from industrial designers Liao-Hsun Chen and Wen-Chih Chang, a wind energy generating system, the “Wind Cube”, which can somehow generate enough energy to take your home off the grid.

These wind turbines once installed can generate 21.6KWh of electricity for your home, and 15 such systems working together could produce all the energy a family of four needs.

The Wind Cubes can be attached to the outside wall of your house with three screws.

Tremendous: how can the turbine work if the arial flux is blocked by the wall behind.
