She experimented in a variety of mediums. A precursor of pop art and a big influence for Andy Warhol, she started in the New York scene with pop art, but unfortunately largely forgotten.
It is difficult to say who influenced whom, but there are a lot of similarities with Niki de Saint Phalle and especially the famous Nanas.
I personally see that with her work she has influenced artist like Keith Harring, Claes Oldenburg and Ross Bleckner and Greek artist Alexis Akrithakis.
Recently she collaborated with Louis Vuitton to produce a series of Artistic projects and accessories.
