Samsung Electronics and Google today unveiled new intelligent eyewear at Google I/O 2026.
Google and Samsung have introduced new smart glasses with Gentle Monster and Warby Parker, featuring hands-free tools that let you get directions, send messages, take photos, and more, without pulling out your phone.
Just say “Hey Google” or tap the side of the glasses to open Gemini. You can ask questions about what’s around you or get help completing everyday tasks.

Here are some of the upcoming features:
-See and ask: Ask Gemini about anything you’re looking at, from restaurant reviews and cloud names to confusing parking signs.
-Easy navigation: The glasses understand your location and direction, giving natural turn-by-turn directions and helping you find nearby places or add stops along the way.
-Stay connected: Make calls, send texts, and hear summaries of missed messages without touching your phone. You can also play music through clear and private speakers.
-Take and edit photos: Capture photos and videos instantly, then edit them with voice commands. For example, you can remove distractions or add fun effects like funny hats.
-Instant translation: Hear real-time translations that match the speaker’s voice, or look at menus and signs to hear translated text.
-Help with tasks: Gemini can handle multi-step tasks in the background, like preparing a coffee order while your phone stays in your pocket.
-Use your apps by voice: Order rides with Uber, learn languages with Mondly, and control compatible apps using just your voice. The glasses work with both Android and iPhone.
