The stunning BMW Concept Skytop inspired by the legendary Z8, features a refined and classic design, was just unveiled.
The BMW Concept Skytop debuted at the Villa d’Este Concours d’Elegance by Lake Como. This concept car draws inspiration from classic grand tourers rather than racing cars.
The open two-seater is crafted like an elegant vehicle sculpture, combining sporty flow with a strong, athletic presence. Inside and out, the car uses warm monochromatic colors, merging premium materials with traditional craftsmanship.

The BMW Concept Skytop’s clean exterior design evokes a sense of travel. Its taut, muscular surfaces are defined by a few precise lines, directing attention to the rear. Winglets integrated into the door shoulders replace traditional door handles, and light-alloy wheels with precise lamellas enhance its unique look.

The headlights’ design is seamlessly integrated, featuring custom-developed LED units on milled aluminum carriers, showcasing the latest technology and the slimmest profile available.
The engine options are similar to those of the BMW Z8, featuring BMW’s most powerful V8 engine.

Adrian van Hooydonk, head of BMW Group Design, said:
“The BMW Concept Skytop is a truly unique and exotic design, in the tradition of the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este. It offers a combination of driving dynamics and elegance at the highest level, comparable to its historic ancestors, like the BMW Z8 or BMW 503.”
