easyJet has partnered with JetZero to help develop new blended-wing aircraft, which could reduce fuel use and greenhouse gas emissions by up to 50% compared to traditional aircraft designs.

These planes could potentially run on hydrogen power. easyJet will contribute its expertise in hydrogen propulsion technology and explore using the blended-wing design for hydrogen-powered engines. Additionally, the airline will join JetZero’s Airline Working Group to address operational challenges and improve flight efficiency with this new aircraft shape.
