Thousands of FlyNow electric helicopter pods have been ordered for the upcoming World Expo, and are expected to hit the skies by 2030.
FlyNow, an aviation company based in Salzburg, Austria, will supply thousands of electric helicopter aircraft by 2030 to enhance mobility and sustainability at the International Expo in Riyadh.

Chief Operating Officer Yvonne Winter said:
“FlyNow plans to open a regional office in Saudi Arabia within the next month or two.
An assembly line for local production and sales and export to global markets will be established in the Kingdom.”

Key Features of FlyNow’s electric aircraft:
Single-seater and two-seater models, with the latter carrying up to 200 kg.
Fully electric version powered by batteries.
Future versions will include hydrogen-powered and hybrid models.
The electric version can travel 50 km, while the hybrid version can cover up to 200 km at a flight speed of 130 km/h.
