The Royal Commission and the Ministry of Sports have revealed the King Salman Stadium in Riyadh, designed by Populous.
The King Salman Stadium set to open in late 2029, it will be the largest stadium in Saudi Arabia and among the biggest sports venues in the world.

Located in northern Riyadh on King Salman Road near King Abdulaziz Park, the stadium will host the Saudi national football team and major local and international events.
The design draws inspiration from Saudi Arabia’s natural landscape, symbolizing growth and development in sports across the country.
The stadium will seat over 92,000 people and include premium features like a Royal Box, skyboxes, lounges, 300 VVIP seats, 2,200 VIP seats, internal screens, gardens, and a rooftop walking path with views of King Abdulaziz Park.

The master plan also includes commercial spaces, football training fields, fan zones, an aquatics center, an athletics stadium, an indoor sports hall, and a community sports park. A 9-kilometer sports track will link these facilities to King Abdulaziz Park.
