Spiky Porsche Taycan at Scopes Festival

Porsche Taycan decorated with thorns in a spiky makeover for the 2023 Porsche Scopes.

Swedish artist Fabian Bergmark Näsman unveils spiky Porsche at the 2023 Scopes festival in Stockholm, an installation in which he used a silver-bodied Taycan with an array of 73 spikes.

Fabian is presenting an installation, adding his signature sculptural work to the Porsche Taycan car, covering its body with armor-like thorns. The protrusions growing out from the car body are finished in a matching silver hue to exist as part of the car itself. The organic forms are excerpts from the language Fabian has developed in his sculptural series ”Figure”, which he has been working exclusively with over the last few years.

SCOPES started as a festival series in 2018 and has been to Berlin, Amsterdam, Tokyo, Asia Pacific, Warsaw, and Tel Aviv. Since November 2022 we added the so-called CO-LAB format, which gives artists globally the opportunity to realize their dream projects independently from a festival.
