A homemade rocket trike powered only by compressed air and rainwater, reached 261 km/h and from 0 to 100 km/h in 0.551 second…
“Many of us had the opportunity to launch small rockets made from soda bottles filled with water and compressed air. Using this very simple principle and with some rainwater, I have reached 261 km/h (162.2 mph) on a homemade trike, while accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h (62.15 mph) in 0.551 second (the average acceleration during the first 852 milliseconds, which was the elapsed time needed to cover the first 60 feet (18.28 meters). This video was shot on the Circuit Paul Ricard located at Le Castellet in France.”
