New Mercedes-Benz models are on the way. The company plans to launch 16 new cars this year alone, with even more arriving in 2027.
In its official 2026 Strategy Update, Mercedes-Benz shared its plan for strong growth, advanced technology, and more exciting vehicles for customers.

Main goals include:
Around 2 million vehicle sales
More than 15% growth in its top-end luxury segment
Doubling the share of xEV (electric and electrified) models
Mercedes is focusing heavily on high-performance luxury. Upcoming highlights include the new Mercedes-Maybach S-Class (debuting in March 2026) and new AMG-based models. EA platform, including a 4-door coupé this year and an SUV soon after.

The company also confirmed that advanced technologies such as axial-flux motors and direct-cooled batteries from the Mercedes-AMG GT XX will enter production in 2026.

This is Mercedes’ most comprehensive lineup update yet. It will include advanced, electrified combustion engines ready for EU7 rules, long-range plug-in hybrids, electrified V8 engines, and both NMC and LFP battery options.
Customers will have more choice than ever, 4-, 6-, and 8-cylinder engines, plug-in hybrids, and fully electric models.
