Northrop Grumman is teasing us with a fresh preview of its entry for the U.S. Navy’s F/A-XX fighter program.

On April 20, 2026, U.S. Chief of Naval Operations Admiral Daryl Caudle said at the Sea-Air-Space 2026 that a decision is expected soon on whether Northrop Grumman or Boeing will move forward with the program.

In response, CEO Kathy Warden said the company is ready and has the capacity to build the new jet.
