Alpine is planning to create more extreme performance cars, including the Alpenglow Hy6 hypercar concept.

CEO Philippe Krief aims to utilize the new APP platform to develop exclusive, heavily reworked electric vehicles and to create a lightweight supercar.

The brand aims to move upmarket by developing more aggressive versions of its current models, and eventually a flagship halo car.

The Alpenglow Hy6 combines engineering and design, featuring a transparent rear cover that shows off its mechanical components. Staying true to Alpine’s philosophy, the car puts its technology on display through clean, purposeful styling.

Its colours and materials are inspired by natural elements like fire, water, ice, and wind. The body fades from bright red at the front to different shades of blue toward the rear. The lighting design reflects the stages of the hydrogen combustion engine, which produces only water vapour. Two fuel tanks on either side of the cockpit are shaped like water drops, placing the driver at the centre of the car.
