Apple Maps on the Web is now available in public beta, allowing world users to access Maps directly from their browsers.
Now with Apple Maps on the Web, users can get driving and walking directions, find great places with helpful details like photos, hours, ratings, and reviews, order food directly from the Maps place card, and explore curated Guides for recommendations on where to eat, shop, and visit in cities worldwide.
More features, including Look Around, will be added soon. Developers, including those using MapKit JS, can link to Maps on the web, allowing their users to get driving directions and see detailed place info. Maps on the web is available in English and works with Safari and Chrome on Mac and iPad, as well as Chrome and Edge on Windows PCs. More languages, browsers, and platforms will be supported in the future.
