Battery Tanker X

This 140-meter-long electric propulsion vessel is the world’s first Battery Tanker X, capable of transporting electricity across the sea.

With the Battery Tanker X, renewable energy can be safely connecting grids, islands, and offshore wind farms.

PowerX, a Japanese battery startup, to install Marine-grade batteries on the ship having a total capacity of 240MWh.

According to the company, this unique ship is planned to be fully certified by international standards, including DNV and Class NK.
