BMW revives classic coachbuilt design with the Concept Speedtop, debuting at Concorso d’Eleganza in Lake Como.
At the 2025 Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, BMW revealed its latest limited-edition model, the Concept Speedtop grand tourer.
Blending classic luxury, expert craftsmanship, and a distinctive Shooting Brake design, the Concept Speedtop delivers a unique and immersive driving experience. This exclusive model continues BMW’s tradition of sporty Touring cars, offering a tailored design that makes the joy of driving something you can truly feel.

Its sleek profile and bold shark-nose front take inspiration from iconic models like the BMW Z8. With its flowing lines, the Speedtop draws on BMW’s long Touring heritage—from the 328 Touring Coupé and the M3 and M5 Touring, to the one-of-a-kind Z4 Touring shown at the 2023 Concorso. The Speedtop stands as the most refined and exclusive expression of BMW’s Touring and Shooting Brake lineage.

Adrian van Hooydonk, head of BMW Group Design, said:
“A true BMW exudes dynamism and elegance even when it’s standing still. And that’s also the case with our new concept car. The BMW Concept Speedtop is characterised first of all by its profile. It is very unique in the automotive industry. In this way, we have created an exclamation mark for our entire lineup of vehicles, especially for the Touring models.”
