The Bugatti Brouillard coupe hypercar is a stunning coupé inspired by Ettore Bugatti’s lifelong love of horses.
Its name honors his favorite horse, Brouillard, who was clever enough to open his own stable door thanks to a special latch Ettore designed. This remarkable animal embodied everything Ettore valued—speed, beauty, and unmatched elegance.

The Programme Solitaire continues Bugatti’s proud tradition of coach-built cars. In the early 1900s, carmakers often worked with specialist coachbuilders to create beautiful bodies. Jean Bugatti transformed this process by bringing it in-house, producing icons like the Type 57 SC Atlantic.

The Type 57 chassis was also fitted with other in-house body styles, including the Galibier, Stelvio, Ventoux, and Atalante, which ranged from four-door saloons to two-door convertibles and coupés.

The Brouillard is based on Bugatti’s most advanced W16 platform, with the 1,600 PS version of its legendary quad-turbo engine. It stands as the ultimate evolution of the W16, the result of nearly 20 years of engineering mastery.
