Cyclone Hybrid-Electric Aircraft. HopFlyt
HopFlyt’s Cyclone is a new kind of VTOL aircraft with a hybrid-electric system and unique semicircular wings, designed for real-world missions and tough environments.
Right now, aviation is going through a major shift, with many new aircraft designs and ideas being tested. The potential for change is huge.
Cyclone Hybrid-Electric Aircraft. HopFlyt
HopFlyt Cyclone is built to solve maritime logistics challenges. It uses an advanced turbogenerator system and can carry up to 250 lbs of cargo or fly more than 800 miles while taking off and landing vertically, making it far more efficient and cheaper to operate than traditional helicopters.

The aircraft will be powered by the Monarch 5 Turbogenerator, developed by UAV Turbines, and will be the first to use it. It aims for an 800-mile range with about 30% lower power consumption.
Its patented Channel Wing Propulsion System improves airflow and efficiency, giving it better performance than typical designs.

Why it matters:
Cyclone could significantly cut costs and expand what’s possible in long-range cargo transport, especially in remote or offshore areas where helicopters are currently the only option.
