Delta is joining forces with Maeve Aerospace to help bring the company’s new hybrid-electric regional jet to market.
The aircraft, known as the MJ500, is designed to be up to 40% more fuel efficient—cutting both emissions and operating costs nearly in half.

As Maeve’s lead airline partner in North America, Delta will share its operational expertise to support the jet’s development. The MJ500 reimagines regional flying with a single-aisle, five-abreast seating layout, offering the comfort and economics of a larger narrow-body plane on short-haul routes.
