Earth is about to Capture a New Tiny Moon

 

Earth is about to capture a new tiny moon for 56 days.

This tiny moon is asteroid 2024 PT5, a space rock measuring 10 meters (33 feet) in diameter.

Its small size makes it more susceptible to being temporarily captured by Earth’s gravity—giving it the chance to become a mini-moon.
