Foster + Partnerslunar habitats and Cai Guo-Qiang’s fireworks are featured at the Earth to Space Festival at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C.

The festival, which runs from March 28 to April 20, explores perspectives on the natural world, including space architecture on Mars and the Moon. Foster + Partners showcases its exhibition, while Cai Guo-Qiang presents interactive installations.

The event also includes the U.S. premiere of The Moonwalkers: A Journey with Tom Hanks, a film about the Apollo moon missions and future crewed surface missions.

Featuring a 360-degree projection, it runs through April 20 in Studio K. Additionally, the festival brings together experts from various fields for discussions that go beyond the Kennedy Center.
