Horizon Aircraft has revealed major progress and key advances on its Cavorite X7 all-electric air taxi.
The Horizon Aircraft Cavorite X7 is not a typical air taxi. It is a hybrid-electric aircraft designed for longer-range missions. It flies like a conventional airplane but can take off and land vertically, like a helicopter.
It doesn’t need runways or charging infrastructure. The aircraft is built to fly faster and more safely, with lower operating costs, and to operate in conditions that ground many other aircraft. There is no trade-off in cabin space or payload.

The focus is simple: speed, range, and readiness — built for critical missions where time matters.

After a successful transition flight of its large-scale prototype in May 2025, which confirmed Horizon’s patented fan-in-wing technology, the company moved forward with the design and construction of the full-scale hybrid-electric VTOL aircraft.
The final design is the result of close collaboration between Horizon Aircraft’s engineering team and internationally recognized mobility designer Andrea Mocellin, further improving safety while maximizing performance.
