The $8,000 Porsche Wireless EV Charger delivers 11 kW of power.
It works like an oversized Qi phone charger, using inductive charging. A sturdy pad is installed on your garage floor and connects directly to a high-voltage source. The idea is simple: park your car and it charges automatically, with no cables to plug in.

The first time you use it, you activate the system through your phone.
At 11 kW, it’s about 2–3 times faster than many standard home chargers. It’s not a rapid charger, but it’s easily enough to fully recharge a Cayenne EV overnight. Porsche also says this charging speed is kinder to the battery for long-term health.

A built-in safety system stops charging if something gets in the way—like a pet or child—and resumes once the space is clear.
In the end, you’re not paying $8,000 for speed. You’re paying for convenience. This is a true luxury feature.
