LKTX’s Yunxing series supersonic ramjet aircraft achieves test flight at an altitude nearly double that of commercial airliners.

The Chinese company Lingkong Tianxing Technology has successfully tested its new JinDou400 ramjet detonation engine, JinDouyun. The test reached an altitude nearly double that of commercial airliners and speeds exceeding twice the Concorde’s maximum.

The company evaluated critical technologies, including aerodynamics, thermal protection, and supersonic aircraft control.
