Unveiled in 2014, the roadster was created in partnership with Italian coachbuilder Touring Superleggera. It combined classic open-top styling with modern design cues and an electric powertrain.

The fully functional prototype promised sharp handling and low weight, but high costs and manufacturing hurdles ultimately canceled the project. Even so, its minimalist design has influenced later MINI models.
