New Audi A6 plug-in hybrids, where performance meets efficiency.
Audi is introducing new plug-in hybrid versions of the A6 Saloon and Avant, offering strong performance and better fuel efficiency. These new A6 TFSI e models deliver a combined 299PS (220kW) of power and can drive up to 64 miles on electric power alone.

Thanks to a larger high-voltage battery, smart energy recovery, and advanced hybrid control, both models are more efficient than before. They come with a standard electrified S tronic gearbox, quattro ultra all-wheel drive, and rear-wheel steering.

Buyers can choose from Sport, S line, or Edition 1 trims, with prices starting at £60,980. Orders open in early June, with first customer deliveries expected later in the summer.

The plug-in hybrid system pairs a 2.0 TFSI petrol engine (185kW/252PS) with an electric motor (up to 105kW), giving a total output of 299PS and 450Nm of torque. The result is quick acceleration—from 0 to 62mph in just 6.0 seconds—and a top speed of up to 155mph.

The upgraded battery now holds 25.9 kWh (net 20.7 kWh), around 45% more than before, enabling longer electric-only drives: up to 64 miles in the Saloon and 63 miles in the Avant. Charging is faster too—with an 11kW AC charger, a full charge can take as little as 2.5 hours.
