The translucent Polestar Aegis motorcycle concept has plastic panels, that cover the top and bottom of the bike, allowing to see the chassis.
Designer Lukas Lambrichts explains: “For the Polestar design contest on Instagram, I designed this motorcycle concept with a clear vision.
The goal was to balance the ‘pure’ design language of Polestar with the advanced technology it uses in its products.”
“The inspiration was a very soft looking, matte and transparent product. The internal elements are visible, but covered by a clean shell.”
“A unique feature of this motorcycle is the bendable shell. This allows for a very pure look when not in use. When the driver sits on it, the shell forms to his or her body.
The shell is also detachable allowing easy access to all the technology. It has multiple connection points on the frame where the shell snaps on.”
