The motorless SoftFoot Pro flexible artificial foot replicates the bones and tissues of the human foot in an innovative way.
The new SoftFoot Pro bionic foot prototype, developed by the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT) in Genoa and the Centro E. Piaggio at the University of Pisa, is a flexible, waterproof, motorless prosthetic foot that mimics the human foot.
This innovative design is intended to be a versatile prosthesis for people with disabilities and could also be used in future humanoid robots.
