The Vision BMW Alpina coupe concept shows an exciting new future for the Alpina brand.

BMW officially launched the BMW Alpina brand at the beginning of 2026, and now we get our first glimpse of what’s coming next with the reveal of the beautiful Vision BMW Alpina.

This unique concept coupe is a one-off design study. It may never enter production, but it gives a clear preview of the new styling direction for BMW Alpina.

Its design takes inspiration from legendary classic models, including the iconic BMW 507.

Even though the concept is based on the 5.2-meter-long platform of the BMW 8 Series, it features completely redesigned bodywork and a detailed interior that already looks close to a production-ready car.

Adrian van Hooydonk, the head of BMW Group Design, said:

“Alpina has always represented a very specific idea of performance and refinement—where speed and comfort are complementary ambitions. Our role as the new custodians of this brand is to preserve this distinctiveness and shape it for a contemporary context.”
