The Tetrahedron hydrofoiling superyacht

The triangular hydrofoiling superyacht is a concept that reimagines modern superyachts’ shape, structure, and propulsion.

It features a triangular-shaped superstructure, a pyramid with three faces and six edges, offering stability and a streamlined form. Unlike traditional yacht designs, which are often complex due to hull requirements, this concept simplifies the structure for both aesthetics and function.

The yacht appears to float above the water at high speeds, thanks to adjustable hydrofoils mounted on its sides. The hydrofoils lift the vessel, giving the impression that it’s flying.

The design is inspired by the HYSWAS (Hybrid Small Waterplane Area Ship) concept, based on proven technology developed by companies like the Maritime Applied Physics Corporation, which demonstrated similar principles with “The Quest” in 1995.
