The Ferrari SC40 is a pure, uncompromising berlinetta based on the 296 GTB and will be on display at the Ferrari Museum in Maranello.

Inspired by the legendary Ferrari F40, one of Maranello’s most iconic modern cars, the SC40 is a one-off creation from the Special Projects division, built for a single client.

It pays tribute to the F40 while using the mid-rear V6 architecture, chassis, and powertrain of the 296 GTB. Its design blends the F40’s sharp, angular character with softer, more modern surfaces.

Every part of the SC40 is new and unique. The “SC40” badge engraved on the rear wing is a nod to the F40, yet the intent was not to recreate the past, but to craft a car with its own strong identity.

Inside, the cabin is minimalist and lightweight. It closely resembles the 296 GTB’s two-seat layout, with several custom elements that set it apart.
