A new battery with quick charging technology, gives 10 hours of talk time after only 5 minutes of charge.
Watt Lab, which belongs to the Central Research Institute at Huawei Technology Corporation Limited, using next generation technology, created new batteries that achieved a charging speed 10 times faster than normal batteries.
The new batteries can reache approximately 50% capacity in a few minutes.
According to Huawei, the company bonded heteroatoms to the molecule of graphite in anode, which could be a catalyst for the capture and transmission of lithium through carbon bonds. Huawei stated that the heteroatoms increase the charging speed of batteries without decreasing energy density or battery life.
