7-Eleven delivers 77 packages via drone in first month.
Instant drone delivery isn’t the future, it’s happening now. Flirtey and 7-Eleven complete deliveries of 77 packages, in first month of routine commercial drone deliveries.
Once an order was placed, 7-Eleven merchandise, with items like a hot and cold food and over-the-counter medicines, were loaded into a custom Flirtey drone delivery container and uses precision GPS to customer’s house. Once arrived, the drone hovered and lowered the package.
Flirtey CEO Matthew Sweeny, said:

This is a giant leap towards a future where everyone can experience the convenience of Flirtey’s instant store-to-door drone delivery.”
