British architects are raising funds to build a real version of the city of Minas Tirith, in Northern England.

“Lord of the Rings” fans architects trying to raise $2.82 billion USD (!), to build a full sized city Minas Tirith.

“We all share a love of Tolkien’s work, and a desire to challenge the common perception of community and architecture.”
