Candela launched the C-8 Polestar electric hydrofoil boat featuring active stabilization to adjust the hydrofoils’ position according to various sea conditions.

Swedish electric hydrofoil boat maker Candela has begun delivering the first models of its Candela C-8 Polestar edition.

The electric boat features a striking solid gray hull and gold-painted hydrofoil, drawing immediate attention. These colors enhance the boat’s sleek design, with the gray body shimmering in the sunlight and the gold hydrofoil providing a bold contrast.

The C-8 is powered by a 69-kWh battery, using charging hardware from the Polestar 2. This setup allows the boat to travel up to 57 nautical miles on a single charge and cruise at 22 knots. Candela and Polestar first introduced the C-8 with gold hydrofoils in 2023.
