The world’s first virtual track train was just unveiled in the city of Zhuzhou in central China.
The autonomous train, which is 32 meters long, 3.4 meters high, has a top speed of 70 km/h, can accommodate 307 passengers.
Instead of tracks, the new train uses rubber tires, runs along white-dotted lines on the test ground, controlled by hundreds of sensors. The ride is like a bus.
Its battery enables the train to run 25 kilometers after only 10 minutes of charging.
