Thanks to a high-pressure system positioned over western Europe, Sunday the 19th was a pleasant late spring day in the City of Light; mostly sunny skies, mild temperatures and calm winds. As the Sun set, wavy cirrus clouds graced the twilight sky. These clouds, visible during the late afternoon, were particularly pronounced after sundown.
Note that because the Sun is more than about 10 degrees below the horizon, even these high altitude clouds are too low to reflect sunlight.
