China’s “Harmony” commercial bullet train was recorded to have hit a top speed of 302 mph, beating its own old record of 260 mph.
The record is of course for the fastest unmodified bullet train. However, if we’re talking about modified trains, then the Harmony doesn’t even compare — with trains capable of hitting over 350 mph.
With China set to wow the world with its high speed rail network, it’s only fitting it will start claiming some speed records.
